New year, new you! Take a spring noncredit class!

Lots to learn: money management, computers, wellness, music, much more

Monday, December 05, 2011
Create a happier, healthier you this New Year! Whether you pursue a fitness goal, renew a favorite hobby, remodel the house, or eliminate debt, Parkland’s upcoming noncredit classes, workshops, and events can help you start and maintain your changes.

Residents can expect the new 505 brochure for spring 2012 to reach mailboxes by the first week of January. It lists hundreds of workshops and classes available in more than 15 different personal growth or professional development categories, including health and wellness, creative expression, recreation and leisure, money matters, computer skills, careers, music, home and garden, and more. People can take classes that qualify as continuing educational credit; that train and certify food preparers, refrigerant handlers, real-estate agents, and others; or that are just plain fun to take.

To register for classes, visit Community Education's registration web page to find out the best method. Registrations may be made online, in person, or by mail and will be processed in the order they are received.

Please call Parkland Community Education at 217/353-2055 for more information about noncredit classes and workshops and cultural events.
