Classic and late-model vehicles on display; food, music, autocross--a swap meet, too!
Classic and late-model custom cars, stock cars, trucks, and other vehicles will be on display at the 14th annual Parkland Motorsports Car Show, Saturday May 4 at the M parking lot of Parkland College. The event is free to the public.

Community residents are invited to display their own vehicles at the car show. Registration before the event is $10; registration on the day of the car show, between 10:30 a.m. and noon, is $15. The show and judging begin at noon. Student choice awards will be announced at 3 p.m., with participant vote awards at 4 p.m.
“The Parkland car show has become one of the most anticipated events of the year,” said Jonathan Ross, Parkland’s Automotive Technology program director. “It is exciting to hear stories of local enthusiasts that are building cars just for this event.”
The car show includes food, music, a Champaign County Sports Car Club autocross (extra fee), and a swap meet. This event is sponsored by the Parkland Motorsports Club. Registration fees benefit the club's activities. For additional information, call 217/351-2209 or visit the Web at
