Step 1: Submit an application

  • Online
    Complete and submit an online application.

  • Or by mail or fax
    Please type or print this application form and mail it to Admissions and Records, Parkland College, 2400 West Bradley Avenue, Champaign, IL 61821-1899 or fax it to 217/353-2640.

  • Or in person
    Stop by the Office of Admissions and Records (A167; 217/351-2208) to complete an application form.

>> Note: If you are planning on applying for financial aid, do it now at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Parkland College's school code is 007118. Check for general scholarships at www.fastweb.com and our Parkland Scholarships. For more on the types of aid available and how to apply for them, visit the Financial Aid web site.

Step 2: Transcripts
Contact your high school or any college you have attended and have them send an official copy of your transcripts or GED scores to: Parkland College, Admissions and Records, 2400 West Bradley Ave., Champaign, IL 61821.

Step 3: Wait for a letter of acceptance
You should receive a letter of acceptance to Parkland approximately two weeks after your transcripts are received. Call the Office of Admissions and Records at 217/351-2482 if you have any questions.

Step 4: Assessment
Obtain evidence of academic readiness or take an assessment of your skill levels in reading, writing, and mathematics at Parkland before meeting with an advisor or counselor. Call 217/351-2432 to schedule an appointment.

Step 5: Orientation
New students with fewer than 15 college credit hours must complete our online orientation.

Meet with an advisor or counselor to prepare for registration. Call 217/351-2219 to schedule an appointment.

You are eligible to register for classes following your advising session.

Did You Know?

Parkland graphic design graduates can transfer to Illinois State University and earn a BA in graphic design? By special arrangement with ISU, you can transfer as a junior and finish your bachelor's degree in just two more years.
