L Wing Biology Laboratory Remodel
Project meetings have been ongoing with Administration and Faculty to determine the space requirements and layouts.
The Biology Laboratory Remodel project consists of updating and remodeling the existing Natural Science laboratories in the L Wing, and converting the existing Bookstore space into additional laboratory space. At the November 2012 Board meeting, the Trustees chose Demonica Kemper Architects to design the new spaces. A preliminary project meeting has been held to determine the project scope and preliminary schedule. The intent is to complete design work and bid the project in 2013 with construction beginning in spring 2014 and completing in fall 2014.

Work began in December to replace carpet in several L Wing classrooms, along with repainting of those rooms. This initial phase was completed prior to the start of the spring semester on January 14th. The remaining flooring and upgrading of the L Wing will be completed in the summer of 2014.
