The Parkland Men's Golf team finished in 6th place at the Robert Morris Invitational held at Midlane Golf Course in Wadsworth, IL. The Cobras were the only NJCAA school in the field as they went up against a field of NCAA D-II/III and NAIA programs.
Sophomore Corbin Sebens was a bright spot for Parkland as he rallied from an opening day 80 to fire a two-under par 69 on day two to finish in 4th place just three shots off the lead. Blake Blumenstock of North Park took medalist honors with a 146 while St. Francis University of Joliet won the team trophy by 6 strokes over Bethel College of Indiana. Next up for PC is their biggest tournament of the fall season when the Cobras travel to Springfield for the State of Illinois JUCO Championships on 9/27-28 at Piper Glen Golf Course.
